Welcome to Muff (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility


You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Nature of the Service


Muff is a web directory platform that allows users to post and browse listings. We are not a party to any interactions, agreements, or transactions between users.

We do not:

  • Verify the accuracy of listings
  • Endorse any user or listing
  • Provide or arrange services advertised by users

3. User Responsibilities


You agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate and lawful information
  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws
You must NOT:

  • Post or promote illegal services
  • Engage in human trafficking, coercion, or exploitation
  • Post content involving minors (strictly prohibited)
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or staff

4. Content Policy


By submitting content (ads, images, text), you:

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
  • Confirm that you have the legal right to post the content
We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content at our sole discretion
  • Suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms

Content Removal Requests

  • We are not under any type of obligation to remove any of the already publicly available content on our website unless for legal reasons such as copyright infringement, in which case you must bring a legal order.
  • In absence of a court order and/or obvious breach of any regulations having public, non-copyrighted content removed from any website is not a right but a privilege and may be denied by the website owner or content publisher at any time.
  • However given the nature of certain content we do recognize that some situations may require additional consideration, therefore if you feel some of the content published on this website does not belong, kindly submit a removal request and justification via e-mail to [email protected].
  • Each removal request must include 1) reason and 2) a link to the content you are requesting us to remove.
  • Removal requests that do not include reason and means to identify the content to be removed cannot be honored and our customer support will not follow up.

5. Prohibited Content


The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Any content involving minors

  • Non-consensual or exploitative material
  • Human trafficking or coercion
  • Illegal services under applicable law
  • Stolen images or impersonation
Violations may be reported to law enforcement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muff shall not be liable for:

  • Any interactions or disputes between users
  • Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

9. Indemnification


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your content or interactions with other users

10. Account Termination


We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Privacy


Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.

12. Governing Law


These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
